I offer an initial, FREE 20 minute telephone consultation to gain a picture of your child's difficulties and assess ways forward to support their learning.

Assessments
What will happen:
A series of questionnaires, interviews and tests will be carried out prior to the formal assessment. This will involve talking with the child’s school, discussing any previous history of intervention and support, as well as any family history.
The testing for the assessment will take approximately 2-3 hours. This will consist of tests to explore the child’s general underlying ability, spelling, reading, writing and maths.
Working memory, processing speed and phonological ability will also be explored.
Clients will receive verbal feedback within 48 hours, followed by a written report within 3-4 weeks.
The written report will provide an in-depth picture of the child’s strengths and areas of challenge, as well as providing detailed recommendations for home, school, college/university.

Dyslexia Assessments
(Face to Face)
Ages 7-16
Price: £500
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure a booking.
The remaining fee is required 24hours before the date of the booking.
Specialist Tuition
AS an experienced primary school teacher, as well as a specialist dyslexia teacher, I can provide bespoke in-person tuition to support a child or young person, which can work alongside their daily life and education journey.
Sessions are usually one hour, consisting of interactive, fun games and activities to help support spelling, writing, reading or touch typing.
The aim is to build self-esteem, independence and strategies to aid learning. Having an in-depth knowledge of the primary curriculum, I can also plan and deliver sessions which will work alongside the work and activities that are done at school.
