...WELCOME to Whitstable and Coastal Dyslexia Service - dedicated to providing specialized support for primary school children with dyslexia and other learning difficulties, in the East Kent area.
My name is Tara Terry and I'm a qualified primary school teacher with more than 18 years experience. I hold an accredited Assessment Practising Certificate with Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association, ensuring the highest standards of professional practice.
I have an enhanced DBS and am still teaching in school, so I have a broad knowledge and experience of learning needs.
I am passionate about supporting children with dyslexia and other difficulties.

As well as my professional experience, I am a mum of two so totally understand how important it is to give children the very best opportunities in life, whatever their strengths and weaknesses.
